I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is the leading training program for the collision industry. I-CAR is proud to provide the industry with high-quality and relevant training, and continuously strives to meet the training needs of industry professionals in an ever changing environment.

PALM Students in the I-CAR training path will be trained and certified in the following 9 Core Areas:
- Fundamentals of Collision Repair
- Vehicle Identification, Estimating Systems, and Terminology
- Frontal Impact Analysis
- Mechanical Systems Analysis
- Steering and Suspension Damage Analysis
- Restraints, Interior, Glass, Side nd Rear Impact Analysis
- Aluminum Panels and Structures Damage Analysis
- Hazardous Materials, Personal Safety, and Refinish Safety
- Corrosion Protection
All I-CAR classes are coupled with hands-on projects designed to help build literacy and numeracy skills. Certifications are paid for by PALM for its students. Once all 9 areas are met, students will be placed in On-the-Job Training (OJT), Apprenticeships, Internships or immediate employment.
All body shops who want to receive insurance work must be I-CAR certified! These certifications are your ticket to success in the collision industry! Don't miss out on your chance to become certified for FREE!

PALM holds I-CAR certification courses at its facilities throughout the whole year! I-CAR classes are generally held on Saturdays, and, better yet, you walk out the door with your certification (as long as you pass the test)!
