Palmetto Motorsports is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation established to provide job skill opportunities to youths and adults in Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg counties in the motorsports, aviation and automotive industries. Funding for this program is provided by the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments; Waccamaw Workforce Investment Board.

The Palmetto Advancement for Learning Motorsports (PALM) is open to all individuals who are eligible. PALM specializes in training at-risk youth ages 16-21 providing them with the opportunity to acquire their GED and obtain job skills for the demand-driven workforce. Classes are generally held in the evening Monday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM.
